Yes, but our security officers are state licensed and to work security at your event will require us to staff it with only employees who have been vetted by the State and our company to perform security duties.
Absolutely. After every event, a SEG office team member will contact you for feedback on the staff. Staff whom you liked and performed well can be added to your request list and staffed on your future events, as much as possible. You can also add staff to your personalized request by contacting your sales representative.
Simon Event Group Superstars are our top ranked, most experienced employees, capable of working alone or with little or no supervision. When you have special needs that may require the SEG Superstar staff or you request a Superstar staffer by name, your SEG staffing representative will be glad to assist you when you place your order. Please note, when ordering Superstar Staff, additional charges will apply.
We provide party captains and event managers who can run your event from start to finish. But if your event does not require that level of staffing, providing a well written time-line and a clear description of your needs communicated clearly to the staff at the start of your event is all that’s needed for our staff to carry out their duties responsibly.
SEG hospitality employees come to our company with an average of one year of experience in the food service industry. We require our brand ambassadors, promotional models and security officers to have at least 3 to 6 months of experience. We offer paid training seminars on an on-going basis. Our staff is paid to attend our training seminars and are a requirement for continued employment with SEG. Seminars we offer are:
- Formal Service
- Customer Service
- Home Parties
- TIPS Bartender certification
- Custom training based on our clients’ specific requirements
- Security Officer training based on current or potential threats seen in event industry
SEG offices are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. A weekend manager is available via our toll-free number. This number is given to clients upon booking our staff.
A SEG client services representative is always available after hours by phone. Just call our toll-free number and the call will be transferred to our weekend manager.
Simon Event Group employees are covered with full Workers’ Compensation insurance, two million dollars in general liability insurance and one million dollars in liquor liability insurance. In addition, for the further protection of our clients, we carry one million dollars in employment practices liability insurance.
Please check with your sales rep for more information on our rentals, liquor, and bar supplies. For services or items, we don’t have, we’re happy to refer to companies that provide for you.
If I have an upcoming event but am unsure about all of the details, should I place an order or wait until later?
The best idea is to place your event staff order early so we can book the date in our calendars and begin staffing it as soon as possible. As your event particulars change, just let us know.
Yes, we’re last minute staffing specialists! There may be rare occasions when we are sold out and unable to meet specific needs, but that’s the exception not the rule.

We bill in 15 minutes increments, rounded up or down depending on exactly the time the staff leaves.
Our rates are industry competitive. Your sales representative will work with you on your pricing. We do have a 4 hour minimum on all staffing request.
